The Lido of Venice is a charming, long, narrow island, located opposite the island of Venice, separating the Venetian Lagoon from the open sea. It is famous for its sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, as well as for its elegant Art Nouveau hotels, fine restaurants, spacious gardens, and historic villas. Furthermore, the Lido plays a key role as the venue for the Venice International Film Festival, one of the world’s most prestigious film events, which attracts directors, actors, and film enthusiasts every year.
The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, well-connected to other parts of the island. By public transportation, it takes 10 minutes to reach Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta, where the vaporetti depart for the city of Venice. The vaporetto takes about 15 minutes to reach Venice, 45 minutes to Murano (with one transfer), and 50 minutes to Burano.
The beaches, both free and paid, are a 10-minute walk away.
