Our room was very clean and quiet. The staff were super helpful with luggage storage and there was a great breakfast - lots of variety and availability. Great location to the bus and train station. The shower in the bathroom was very small.

I chose Hotel Abbazia because it is so close to the train station and I was intrigued that it was once a monestary. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel Abbazia is a charming 50 rooms hotel. The entrance is located in a quiet alley. It's righr near the water bus station and Santa Lucia Train Station. The hotel is nicely converted from a former monastery. It has a spacious, tastefully decorated lounge with a relaxing vibe. The courtyard garden is precious in Venice. All the front desk people are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was sumptuous and delicious. I felt that the cook prepared it with great care. I especially loved various salad varieties! I and my friends enjoyed our stay in Hotel Abbazia very much. We highly recommend it!

Fabulous experience in this beautifully restored monastery, only an 8 min walk from the bus terminal. It is close to a vaporetto stop on the Grand Canal, but it’s very quiet and off the busy thoroughfare. The staff was supremely friendly and helpful AND they include in the cost of lodging free luggage storage and probably the best breakfast we’ve ever eaten in our extensive travels. Did I mention that the bed was more comfortable than at home? Only regret is that we couldn’t have stay longer.

Perfect little place to stay right off the main area and close to the train and water taxi. Amazing breakfast. All the staff were wonderful! For being in an old building it was perfect. Room is small but large enough and the bathroom was excellent. Pretty courtyard to sit in as well. Thank you for hosting us! I would highly recommend this place!!
