If you want to wait in line for an Elevator with 30 other people, please stay here. Very very disappointing. Not what you would expect from a 5 star. Luckily the staff was excellent and fun. The room has seen better days. Designed for short stays with the cruise lines. Next stay will be across the street at the Fairmount. I hear their elevators work.

Average - look elsewhere if you want true 5 star.

Great location, fantastic view from our room, but I’m afraid that’s where the positives end. Really overpriced for what it is and definitely not worthy of calling itself a 5 star hotel. Half of the lifts were out of service, all the communal areas were cold and lacked atmosphere, particularly the hotel bar which was doing a good impression of a store cupboard when we visited with stacks of menus dumped on the piano. The bathrobe had holes in it - all little negatives, but not what you expect when you’re paying £400/night room only for a “5 star” hotel.
