Staff was okay, not as friendly as some other hotels. Elevators were painfully slow and often required some kind of maintenance. It had 2 restaurants attached, which were good. Also has 2 train stations within walking distance and the location, in general was very good. There were A LOT of very young people staying there was I was there, which made it a bit of a party atmosphere on the floor I was staying on; a lot of noise.

First day, had to vacate the first room, toilet was dirty and food in the fridge. 2nd room wasnt vacuumed. Both days we asked for cleaned rooms (while we were gone), came back at 7pm , rooms still not cleaned, had to vacate both times. being pregnant, after a long day, not impressed. Had to call multiple times for stir sticks, ended up going down to the front desk and getting them. Not very accommodating. The guy who checked us out was very embarrassed and empathetic and gave us a 50$ voucher for moxies.

There was dried coffee in the sink from previous persons stay. Garbage between bed and night stand. And socks! Right beside the bed. Windows amd lamps were dusty. Mirrors were visibly dirty. And all i got waved was my $30 parking.

Poor cleaning service, no warning at booking we needed to request housekeeping before 10. We did diligently anyway, the room was not cleaned on the last night of our stay. When we returned to the room, late one the evening, the cleaning sign was on the floor which indicated that someone opened the room and threw the sign on the floor neglecting to clean the room. The room was run down, bathroom was dirty, no lotion - it was brought in on our last night of stay. Elevators were slow. The lobby, hallways are run down, and not clean. Staff was not welcoming. On check-in, the lady kept repeating that I needed to “listen to her” - it was quite noisy in the lobby so I had trouble hearing to her “instructions” about the cleaning service. This is not a 4-star hotel. We visit Vancouver regularly and usually stay here for about a week. I regret changing my usual reservation at Georgian.

It was the worst stay I have ever experienced. I found a mouse in my room, and they moved me to other rooms that were not clean. During the multiple room changes, I lost several personal belongings. I filed a complaint, but they told me they didn’t find anything. These were the worst five nights ever.

Good location close to Rogers arena and BC place. Restaurant was very good. The hotel itself was okay needs updating. The elevators were very small and very full. We had to wait several times or take the stairs. As I was travelling with a disabled person who had trouble walking and a dog with mobility issues it was not ideal.
