AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and we ended up leaving the same night. When we arrived, the door to our assigned room was already open and unlocked, with the bathroom fan running—clearly, someone had been in there just before us. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell wasn’t just faint; it was deeply ingrained in the curtains and coming directly from the air conditioning unit.
The bathroom was in shocking condition, with visible holes in the ceiling above the shower that had been crudely patched, as if the room was mid-renovation. Everything about the space felt unsanitary and unsafe. We immediately decided we couldn’t stay and booked another hotel that same night.
Afterward, I checked more recent reviews and saw a pattern of similar complaints about cleanliness and maintenance. I wish I had looked closer before booking, as the newer reviews tell the full story.
I strongly urge anyone considering this property to check the most recent feedback before making a reservation. Between the cigarette stench, the unsafe and unfinished room, and the fact that it was already open when we arrived, this property clearly has major issues with both sanitation and guest safety. I will be requesting a refund directly through Hotels.com.
