Home away from home

As always, a very cozy and reliable stay. Comfortable bed and a quiet, homey environment. Fixtures are a little old but great price point for comfort and location.

Cambie house was perfect for our recent trip. I loved how easy it was to take the train from the airport. There was a beautiful deck we wish we had time to enjoy. The breakfast in the morning was great and included fresh baked croissants. Most important for us was the bed was very comfortable and it was quiet for a great nights sleep.

For the cost, the breakfast was disappointing. Not filling. Also, they have signs about the house being old and so bugs seem to come with the territory, but a bug was crawling on my neck while I was working inside and that freaked me out. And the signs let me know that couldn’t really be prevented.

Did not notice when booking there was no air conditioning. The biggest issues were that the bed was much too soft and uncomfortable and the quality of the bathroom fixtures were twrrible where nothing matched or were in poor condition. It's a beautiful old Victorian home conversion to B&B but more concern should made to the quality and condition and quality of things like lighting etc.

This was the perfect place to stay before our cruise departed. The staff members were all gracious and helpful. The neighborhood was beautiful and in close proximity to dining and shopping.

The place was very nice. however we were in the oak room, and one of the employee's area is right next to the back bedroom and it was a bit wierd being in our bedroom and hearing a person cough and such. Would be good to make that more sound proof because if we could hear the employee, they could hear us talking.

Perfect weekend trip

Location surpassed expectations. So convenient to airport and to the city and even to the wedding at VanDusen that we were there to attend. The bed was soooo comfy, we fell asleep as soon as we hit the mattress. The front desk folks were SO kind and took time out of their day to even text us pictures of where the iron we needed was while we were out and about. Breakfast was delicious and the cooks were very attentive and nice. Hot breakfast, even during the off season! Looking forward to staying here again :)
