"Excellent house and location. Bear Mtn traffic was insane after a storm. After we figured out the drop off location after one round of trying to park at the resort (our bad), life was great! "Very cute cabin that looked exactly like the photos! The view from the loft was also beautiful to wake up to. Perfect for winter trips as the A-Frame layout is super easy to heat up. Check in/out was also very smooth and the place was also ready much earlier in the day than expected which was amazing.Only downside that others have mentioned is the cleanliness. Not bad but the place could really do with a deep cleaning-- there's dust and cobwebs on the upper areas that seem to have been there for years, the windows could also do with a cleaning & there was still previous pet fur on the carpets/furniture which didn't bother me but if you're allergic it might do. Dishes were also a bit grimy on arrival and we struggled to help keep the place clean because we weren't provided with a sponge to wipe countertops/sinks. "

"Pros: great communication with owner, messages were helpful and prompt, very convenient location to ski Bear Mountain, pleasant walking in the neighborhood, very family friendly cabin. Clean accommodations, Nice toiletry products, great outdoor private patio spa hot tub, fun game room with pool table, shuffle board table and vintage arcade games ( the adults liked, the kids were not amused) . Kids loved the bunk beds, extra blankets very helpful for a cozy night. Cons: the master bed mattress was so-so, the bed pillows lumpy and cheap, bring an eye mask if you need a dark room for sleeping, the kitchen pots and pans need an upgrade-used too long, burned out light bulbs and broken random lamps here and there, not enough seating at the dinning table ( only seats 4 people at dinner table). The cabin did not have enough towels for 7-8 people to shower and use the spa/1 large towel per person. Overall, very pleasant stay 4 out of 5 stars. I would book again for the ‘average rate’ weekends for this cabin. Caution on the value of the cabin if booking a high season rate. "
