The short version: Pros: On the beach Friendly staff Daily sargassum removal Centrally located in hotel district Cons:Run down Loud club next door The staff were great people, but the property itself is getting quite run down. We're regular visitors to Cuba, so I think we can say fairly confidently that we're not fussy, and this place was on par with a cuban 3-star. The AC wasn't enough to cool the room , the door was made of boards with a latch for a garden shed instead of a doorknob and the toilet barely flushed. We didn't bother to complain because it's not the staff's fault.

Really enjoyed the stay, nice to have a hotel that’s a bit calmer when it’s a lot going on around it. It’s a hotel that has a home feeling over it. Everyone was nice and service minded, they always tried to help. Location felt safe and close to everything. It’s a bit older facilities but nothing to complain about. The restaurant was ok. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. They assisted with tours, ATV rentals and made sure to get us excellent prices. The resort is lovely, a bit rustic. The location on the beach is fantastic. The only drawback was the hotel directly next door place booming dance music from 11-7 every day. But it is the party zone! And you can walk down the beach to get away from it.
