Everything about this rental exceeded expectations. The home was spacious and beautifully appointed with lots of personality and charm. All the electronics for media and appliances for meal-making were plentiful and high quality. It's in a lovely neighborhood (I actually grew up right around the corner from the house) - great for leisurely walks, and a convenient drive to downtown Troy, Albany, the airport and more. Plenty of off-street and on-street parking. It was easy to "check in" and easy to "check out". We enjoyed coffee and evening cocktails on the front porch every day! The owner was a pleasure to deal with, too! And, an added plus was that HBO happened to be filming The Gilded Age while we were there - just a few houses away around the corner - the horses and carriages were all parked right outside our rental home, and we were able to watch some of the filming. And, despite all the activity, the filming crew couldn't have been more courteous and never impeded our access. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful House of Troy!
