Super cool and unique stay. Instead of a pool, you have a beautiful lake with sandy beach! The rooms are super cute and all motel rooms have a lake view. We had a fire at night and nice breakfast in the morning. Looking forward to coming back!

Loved the unique character and history. Beautiful rooms, just like the online pictures. Enjoyed sitting on the veranda rocking chairs and porch swing in the cool of the evening. Lovely little private beach a minute’s walk away. Definitely worth staying and would recommend it to anyone coming to the area.

This historic motel was a great surprise! Great view, super friendly owners, luxury bedding and a cute eclectic antique ascetic. Bar was closed but we were welcome to enjoy BYOB on the porch while admiring the lake view. No television in our room was a PLUS.

Historic, rustic, renovated old tb sanitorum with nice periodic decor. Outside needs painting. Beds very comfortable, rooms nice and clean. Hate the Michigan liquor laws where we could not enjoy our beverages of choice in the dining room or lobby. Stayed in our room to drink out beverages and played cards. %

The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, nicely decorated in period decorations and themes. The breakfast was minimal - muffins and coffee. No milk. The Inn needs painting outside. Mosquitoes prevented playing cornhole or sitting on the porch or kayaking. The liquor laws prevented playing cards at the tables in the dining room and bringing your own beverage. Very quiet town. Eat early at 2 restaurants in town.
