Great location & Staff. Beautiful outdoor settings. For flying in and out of Traverse City there is the option for park and stay with a shuttle to Airport. Restaurant, coffee shop & bar, all with water views.

This was an amazing property. The staff was outstanding, the amenities were awesome and the views of the Grand Traverse Bay were amazing!! The on-site restaurant was 5 star. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property itself was lovely. Our room was okay. It was rather small. No view of the water. The bathroom had no bathtub. The shower door handle was loose. There was no makeup mirror, something I would expect for the price. There could also be more electric outlets.

Lost its luster

We enjoyed at stay at the Delamar last year for our anniversary so we were excited to return. This time, our room was pretty basic (felt like a corporate chain) and it seemed like the hotel was offering less amenities - no breakfast included, etc. Not the hotel’s fault, but there were kids everywhere, including in the indoor hot tub at 10pm. Adult-only swim times in both pools would help, but probably not enough to make me return.

Very nice hotel located in a great location. On site restaurant was good for dinner and outside bar was good for lunch. However, very limited breakfast options. Fortunately, there’s lots of restaurants nearby.

Gorgeous resort right on the water. Beautiful indoor and outdoor pool area with hot tub, sauna and cabanas. Great restaurants that have outdoor seating with waterfront view.

Stay away from rooms by elevators

Our room (310) turned out to be terrible. I was right by the two elevator shafts, and compounded by the ice machine right behind our bedroom wall. The view was basically out over the parking lot. We were unable to move to another room unless we were interested in a $900+ per night suite! All I can assume is that Delamar sells off the worst rooms to Hotels.com for a cheaper rate and so people just accept what they get. The hotel was very nice with a great location, nice eating options, and friendly staff. Don't stay on any of the end rooms closest to the elevators, which ran and dinged all night, and there was not much we could do at the front desk when we checked in.
