The facecloths were yellow the plug sockets didn't work except 1 so you had to unplug 1thing to use another my bedroom window faces the dining hall so I couldn't open my curtains the whole 2 days I was there it was a very shady place to stay

The lobby reeked of cannabis, the breakfast cook the first morning somehow simultaneously burned and left the bacon raw (completely inedible). We were willing to somewhat overlook this as we were on an important business trip and needed affordable accommodation until we found bugs and were bitten two days into the trip.... When speaking with the front desk and demanding a refund, the clerk simply said all she could do was give us another room. When speaking with the manager by telephone, all the manager said was “did you have do not disturb on your room?”, which does not make any sense as the room should have been clean and prepared. The sheets were not changed upon our arrival and we were absolutely disgusted to find bugs and public hair when the bedding was pulled back fully. This definitely qualifies as the worst hotel experience I have had in Canada

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The building is extremely old, the curtains didn’t even cover the window properly, and the room booked for two people, had only one set of toiletries. The real nightmare was finding a cockroach in the room right before we were about to go out. When we told the front desk, the staff acted like it was completely normal. No apology, no concern—nothing. He took a photo of my phone (luckily I had managed to snap a picture) and just handed us a key to another room as if this happened every day. Absolutely unacceptable. Breakfast was mediocre at best. And there was a guy working in the breakfast area who looked completely unprofessional, which matched the overall lack of standards throughout the place. Save your money and stay literally anywhere else. This hotel is not worth the stress, the discomfort, or the hygiene issues. Seriously—avoid it.
