The service at this hotel is so professional and welcoming. Our view was spectacular of the water and the island airport. The only issue was that they were modernising their elevators so there was a wait. However, this is temporary and they had a hotel concierge manning the elevators to assist.

I booked a king premium room. It was supposed to have a bathtub and did not. When we went down to the desk we were told that that the premium room didn’t have them. They said that we would have to pay $50.00 and upgrade to the suite room. When I got home I looked online and the premium room states it has a shower/bathtub.

Two rooms next to mine were under construction. Carpet dirty in a hallway because of that. My room was not cleaned, towels were not changed. I called twice to housekeeping to request clean towels. They brought it only around 10pm. This hotel is horrible!!!

Check in took almost 30 minutes. Line ups for elevators. Security safe in room broke and needed maintenance to open it. Loud air conditioning. Dresser wouldn’t stay shut. Incorrect invoice for stay requiring a visit to front desk. Comfy bed. Efficient valet parking (but very expensive) The hotel is worn out and doesn’t merit four stars.

It was a fabulous location for walking to various tourist attractions. Right on the harbour front with fabulous views on Lake Ontario and the Toronto Islands.
