Do stay here

I have stayed in a lot of hotels and Quality Inn is usually a decent hotel. NOT THIS PLACE! To put it mildly this place is a dump that never left the 1950s. The best solution would be to tear it down and rebuild anew. Floors are uneven presenting tripping hazards, there is no elevator making it unfriendly to handicap. The beds were like cement, the paint wall paper were dirty and peeling from the walls. The food was terrible .. not fresh and over-cooked. The shuttle service was an issue with the drive telling us he was not the right hotel only to find out after waiting over 1.5 hrs that he was our hotel driver. The room were musty and humid with moister forming on the windows and walls. Quality Inns should be ashamed to have this hotel under their banner.

We received instructions from the hotel to wait for the airport shuttle at a specific gate number. My kids and I waited outside the airport for almost an hour, but the shuttle never arrived. When we called the front desk, we were told to go to a different level of the airport and wait at another gate. This was extremely difficult as we had four heavy suitcases along with four hand bags. When we finally reached the hotel, we showed the front desk staff the message with the original instructions and explained that we had followed them. However, they didn’t even read the message or acknowledge their mistake. It was very disappointing. We stayed at the hotel on August 30th.

Excellent. In my opinion, including the airport shuttle service was the best option. The only downside was that the shuttle isn't available between 12:00 and 3:00 PM. A great option, especially for dropping off family members who are traveling to and from Toronto by plane.

Good night’s sleep for a reasonable rate.

It’s a budget hotel, and it reflects that. The service was good, the rooms were clean, the shuttle was prompt, the wi-fi worked (but the charging station for devices in the room didn’t). The beds were firm and comfortable, didn’t really notice the planes that much even with the window open. I think we got what we paid for, which was pretty reasonable.

Nice hotel

Very quiet considering the proximity to the airport. Shuttle service is a plus! Very friendly staff on arriving, we were able to check in a little early too. Breakfast choices were good (especially the butter tarts!) but disappointed in the disposable dinnerware.

Need to stay with their competitors for a night.

Last time we stayed close to YYZ it was with the Fairfield by Marriott Inn which was wonderful. This time they were booked so chose these guys. Upon landing we waited 2 hours at the airport for the shuttle which was then 20 minutes late. We only found out that the shuttle begins service at 3pm until after we booked. The bus to catch was only identifiable from a sheet of paper stuck to the outside of the window with painters tape. We were carrying multiple bags and we were booked into a room on the second floor in a building with only stairs. We booked the 05:30 shuttle for the next day and was told that they couldn't offer us any packed complimentary breakfast. Not even a banana, yoghurt and juice in a paper bag like the Fairfield did for us.The door to our room was tight in the frame and made opening and closing it noisy for our neighbours. We used the hotel restaurant which was excellent and well priced. No Microwave in room, only in the lobby. When I let the receptionist know that the complimentary coffee was empty the next morning, she said she would refill it but didn't. I then went back to my room to make a coffee so we could get on the bus on time and the coffee machine had a broken foot and spilled it. Upon exiting the building, the automatic sliding doors somehow hinged open and became inoperable which made it tricky to navigate with multiple bags. We wont be returning.
