We had a pleasant stay at the Quality Inn near Toronto Airport. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful — really made us feel welcome.
That said, the one downside was the lack of soundproofing. Being so close to the airport, the noise from planes taking off started around 6am and didn’t let up, making it hard to get a proper rest. Some better double glazing or soundproofing would make a big difference for light sleepers or those with early flights.
A couple of other small areas to improve - the airport bus should be better sign posted (and closer to the airrport signage which is for hotel collections - not the opposite side of the Terminal!) and they should not stop serving breakfast at 09:30 am, especially on the weekend!
Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to stay for an airport stopover — just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!
