I was there for a celebratory visit to Toronto. I had sparkling wine and had an expensive meal brought in from the Ruth’s Chris 5* dining restaurant on the property. Upon requesting a wine glass, plate and cutlery the bar and the manager refused. I was forced to drink champagne from a paper cup and eat a $200 meal on paper plate with popsicle-stick cutlery. On ordering coffee in the cafe the next morning, the plate under the creamer was obviously dirty. Upon requesting a clean replacement, the waiter responded with “Well, you don’t eat from that plate anyway.”. I will never return to a Holiday Inn, these being noted by staff and management as hotel policy and given the dirt and poor response of staff. Absolutely no class!

Airport shuttle was fine: Room was fine but not recently updated. I was exhausted after a number of flights and was shocked how difficult it was to get ANYONE on the phone! There was no room service and even once I decided to order something and pick it up I couldn’t reach the restaurant or the front desk or the operator. Will never stay there again

The hotel needs some updates! My room was noisy because of the hwy, and I found the hallways where the rooms were unsafe due to carpeting buckling. The food in the bistro was good and the waiter polite.

So impressed!!!! We stayed one night, picked up at the airport by the free shuttle, staff were so friendly and the room was gorgeous. Ate in the restaurant for a late dinner and my chicken wrap was excellent! Swam in the huge pool early this morning and was very impressed with the gym. We had checked out at 10 am then our plans changed so they quickly managed to get us back into our room till our ride arrived at noon. 5/5!!!
