"It was a pleasure to stay with Pearl on her island. This getaway is different than most vrbos. Strawberry Island is a short boat ride away from the public wharf/boat launch in downtown Tofino. Pearl was incredibly accommodating in shuttling us back and forth whenever we wanted. We stayed in one of Pearl's three cabins which shared a large dock system with several leased float homes. The cabin was very clean, rustic and cozy consisting of a single room with a bunk bed and two single beds. The back deck looks out onto the inlet with beautiful views. We knew what to expect but it is important to understand what your cabin consists of. Our cabin was rustic in that cooking is done on an old propane cooktop and hot water is supplied by a propane on-demand system. My family and I found this charming and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves but others might not know what to expect. The stay was great and we are already talking about going back. Pearl was an amazing host and a pleasure to visit."
