The assistant general manager was super helpful and nice. She offer advice and encouragement to me and my son. I would stay there anytime I’m in Tampa. Close to mall and airport. Also not far from a park with a little beach front for family and fishing.

Disappointed by Lack of Transparency and Flexibility I typically choose Marriott properties for their reliability and service, and this stay was booked for a church convention. Unfortunately, due to a change in my itinerary, I requested to cancel the third night of my reservation—well over 48 hours in advance. The hotel declined to issue a refund, citing Expedia as the reason and claiming their hands were tied. To clarify the situation, I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Expedia, during which they contacted the hotel directly. It became clear that the hotel had misrepresented the situation—they simply chose not to release the final night. Had they been honest from the start, I wouldn’t have felt compelled to write this review. It’s disappointing, especially given the hotel’s convenient location near the airport, which would have made it easy to rebook the room for another guest. I genuinely wish the best for the staff and the property, but I hope they reconsider how they handle similar requests in the future. Transparency and a willingness to accommodate go a long way in building trust.

Close to airport. Didn’t use amenities except breakfast and that was great! The employee working it was very attentive to it and there was a good selection. The only thing that brought it down a notch was the floor in the room was very dirty. It wasn’t carpet but tile and there was hair everywhere.

I made my reservation online and when I went to pay at the hotel, I don't know what the carpeter was doing, he declined my cards. The bank blocked one of them due to suspicion of fraud and charged me twice for the total amount of the reservation on another. The next day, when I realized it, I went to talk. They treated me horribly and did nothing to help me. They told me to sort it out with my bank.
