January usually gets the most snow in the Tahoe Basin, with about 44 inches, which is ten inches more than December and five inches more than February. From November through March low temperatures fall into the low 20s and teens. The warmest months are July and August, approaching 80 degrees. What's great about Tahoe is that there are plenty of fun things to do all year round. It's always good to bring sweaters or jackets anytime of the year since summer nights can be cold.
