Loved the location of the property & the cozy ammenities. A minutes walk to Commons Beach & Park and the bike trail that runs parallel to the lake. The hotel features 2 patios with firepits and comfy seating. October was the perfect time to visit because we nearly had the place to ourselves! This hotel also had a new, beautiful, dry sauna and a cold plunge. It was clean and while enjoying it, I saw maintenance come by and check the pH on the cold plunge. So I know they take care of the property. The front desk staff was kind and helpful. The rooms were uniquely decorated, beds super comfy, no road noise could be heard, mostly very quiet.... Please know, that if you turn your tv on at 6:15am, your neighbor is going to notice. If you let your kids run up and down the hallways outside the doors, your neighbor will notice. If you're carrying on a full conversation in the lobby at 7am, your upstairs neighbor will know! Please be respectful of quiet hours.

Great location except when the main street is getting new tarmac. Entrance blocked until tarmac was dry. Roadworks continued until late at night. Ear plugs were provided in rooms. This happened for 2 of the 3 nights we were there which was just bad timing.

The staff at this hotel were awesome! Was close to the walking path by the lake. The restaurant next door had wonderful food and morning coffee. The gas fireplace upper floor and lower floor was a nice plus.

Evo Is Unique

Great value, wonderful staff. The restaurant is very good, and the outdoor lounge area is perfect for a sip on a cool night. Our dog was right at home too.

The room was simple but clean and super quiet with a comfy bed. The lake is right across the street w open access to walking path. Adjoining restaurant is casual with good food. Open seating areas for reading or drinking coffee.
