Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Bar and restaurant next door are also owned by the hotel which was nice. Price is high for room types compared to other high end hotels but everything was clean and service was great! Would recommend.

Located right across the street from Lake Tahoe and Commos Beach/Park in Tahoe City. Also had an excellent restaurant and bar on-property. Easy to walk to a number of great restaurants and activities.

The rooms were adequate for the price. I didn’t like the motion sensors though. If I needed to get up to use the bathroom the lights would turn on and disturb my wife. I understand the concept of not wanting to waists power but that wasn’t pleasant. Other wise the rooms were ok. They do need to add wash cloths to the towels.

I really wish I could have stayed here more than one night. The staff was so friendly. The hotel includes a restaurant, sauna, and lounge areas with gas fire pits. Right behind it is a golf course and the best part is the view of Lake Tahoe in front of the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Most beautiful city I have ever been. I loved every second.

We enjoyed our stay at Evo. Excellent location with so much within walking distance. Staff were wonderful! We enjoyed coffee and delicious food at the restaurant. Definitely come back again.

The property looks stylish but misses out on some basic features, such as easy access to water coolers or coffee (the machine didn't work). It was quite a nosiy place to sleep, the walls were thin but it was a great location and accessible.

Room was way overpriced. Says renovated in 2025 - felt like a half-hearted attempt at renovation. Bathroom was tiny with no counter space. Walls are very thin. It sounded like demolition was occurring next door and upstairs. There was nowhere on the property to walk my dog for potty breaks. However, the location is very convenient as it is in the heart of town. Close to several restaurants.

Still just a crappy motor lodge

Terrible Hotel. Still just a crappy motor lodge unlike other motel renewals in the area. Walls are thin, windows are worse, can hear everything outside the room. No blackout shades. Weird cabinetry. Place sucks. Really had high hopes but no amount of fire pits can remedy the fact the building should be torn down.
