"When we arrived at the hotel we found the car park easy to find, then followed the signs for reception. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, we were quickly checked in. Then directed to our room, which was very nice, warm and comfortable with a massive bed. It was all very clean and tidy. The only problem was at first we had no hot water but that was quickly rectified. We were soon settled in, then it was time to get some dinner, this was the only thing that we found disappointing about the hotel. You have to leave and walk to the nearby pub (about 8 or 9 minutes walk). though the food at the white swan was very good. We got back then had a very good nights sleep the bed was very comfortable. A nice continental breakfast in a large conservatory, set us up for a day on the Swanage Railway. The station was only 10 minutes walk away. We had a nice couple of days at the Purbeck House Hotel, and would definitely go back. The only thing that we would suggest, is that the bedroom is large enough to have a couple of comfortable armchairs."
