The property was clean, overall, aside for some knats and a dirty pan that had been put in a cupboard. There were no coffee filters for a Ninja that requires special filters and very little hand soap available. There was not a lot of cookware. There was a drawer in the master that was off the railing so when my husband opened it, his leg got cut. Aside from this, the view of the marsh was pretty and we loved the open flow. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the beach. Overall, an enjoyable vacation!

Long Beach home

Great location and nice open floor plan with a lg dining room table, 3 seats at the bar and lg livingroom with plenty of comfy couches/ love seats. The House needs more TLC - worn out blinds, worn and stained area rug, lg stains on the bedroom carpets. The master bedrm blinds were missing 6 vertical panels. I Don't know who is to blame for this Vacasa- mngt company or the owner.It is a beautiful home with 1.5 block, easy walk to the beach and it has the 2 decks. Restaurants are a short.drive. We rode our bikes to the Pepperoni Grill. No beach stuff -no chairs, toys, beach towels.

Oak Island Comfort

The home was very comfortable for our family of five. Very convenient as it was less than a five minute walk to the beach and about a mile from the grocery store and restaurants. Only complaint is that there were several lights out with no bulbs to replace and the dishwasher seems to be failing. The location and neighborhood still made this spot a 5 out of 5 for us!

Beach gear not included as listing stated, was advised that listing had not been updated. Fridge did not make ice and outdoor shower was missing shower head. However, house was very clean, great location. Just wish i would have kbown beach gear not included before arriving, as that is why i booked this house

Quick walk to the beach!

We loved the location and cleanliness of the house. Quiet and safe neighborhood with both quick walks (or bike rides) to beach access or quick trips to the grocery store. We loved having our family dinners at the big table and the outdoor shower was a great addition to rinsing off sand. I would recommend bringing your own towels if it’s a larger family. And bottom part of fridge freezes things so beware of that, but neither of these hindered our stay. Our stay was great and I would book again in the future!

Perfect for our Family!

We absolutely enjoyed this house! It was a perfect location, a very quiet neighborhood. We rented a golf cart and this made the location which is four rows back from the beach much more do able going to the beach with our things. The house was very clean, and beautiful! The bed in the master bedroom was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen sink wasn’t hooked to the hot water. But, honestly these two things would not stop us from renting this house again. We would definitely return!

No AC

The house it’s self was great. It was clean and comfy. On the 2nd evening the AC went out. We sent a text and someone was sent out on Monday noonish. It was raining so the technician said he could not add freon because of the rain. At this point it was 85 degrees in the house. The following day another technician came out but did not have the right equipment to check the AC. He returned and decided it was the coil. By this point it was late afternoon and it was 92 in the house. No human should have to stay in that heat. We called and complained every couple of hours starting on Monday and finally early evening on Tuesday they moved us to a new house which was fabulous. We should have been moved on the first day because of the heat. They did make it right but only after 9 phone calls.
