The water park was a hit with kids. Only difficulty was getting to it. You need to go to the third floor and go down stairs to get to it from the hotel. We found it easier to walk around the building and enter near the cabins. Rooms were clean, beds and pillows comfortable.

This property was clean, quiet and convenient. Staff was nice and room was very comfortable. Things I noticed from others negative reviews, there is plenty of hot water it just takes a while to warm up, be patient. Yes you have to walk across a bridge to get to the waterpark/pool/hot tub, but it's an enclosed walkway on the 3rd floor, no big deal, not far and the entire water park has been renovated.

The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking, we were allowed to park our motorcycles under the entrance awning. Nice craft beer place next door, be aware that it closes at 9 pm. Pool and a kid’s indoor water park were located next door with another hotel. The two are attached at the 2nd floor by a skybridge. Good value hotel.

It was a good stay very quiet safe place walkable to pretty much the entire downtown n lake access in several different areas!!! directly across the street from arnold ferry service to Mackinaw island which was very convient n saved on parking fees!! The hotel itself is quiet safe n for the most part clean there is no breakfast but I would prefer the waterpark / pool area over n a free breakfast!! waterpark was a plus with the kids yes it does need a lil maintenance but overall it was jus what I needed for me and 2 small kids for 3 days!! I would stay here again!!

The rooms were okay and clean but on the smaller side. We went during the high air quality alert during the wildfire. We were grateful for the fact that we could use the indoor waterpark until someone opened up every single window within the water park when the air quality was at 1000. My kids and my husband started feeling ill and we had to return back to our room. Also my daughter’s finger was stuck within one of the waterslides after she went down it and all the paint was chipping from the equipment as well.

My husband and I stayed at Bayside Mackinaw City for two nights. The staff was very friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. The property was very very clean and seemed to be in good condition. We didn't use the pool or hot tub so I am unable to provide feedback on them. Check in was a breeze, and check out was just as quick and easy. Housekeeping was wonderful and made sure we had plenty of towels and soap/shampoo and conditioner. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, a microwave and a small fridge. This property is on the main drag across from Arnold's ferry, and walking distance to restaurants and stores. We loved our stay and will be back again.

Bed and room was clean...but the hotel desperately needs an update. Lots of holes in the halls and near the elevators under the carpet. The pool was a hot mess....babies in diapers in the pool, thus we stayed in the hot tub area. We never saw any attendant watch anyone. And the pool location was totally ridiculous on how to get there and back to the hotel....as it's shared with another hotel. Staff was very nice. No breakfast, and thankfully area was quiet.
