Not enough light in the room. No toulet paper holder. Faucet in tub dripped. Shower water went from cold to hot scalding. Ice machine is outside and only in one spot way away from several rooms. No secure lock. Not sure why this was rated a 9 from other Hotel.com members.

Beautiful flowers, beachfront, and view of the Macinac Bridge. Rooms were nice, clean, and updated with a balcony on the beach. Sufficient parking, proximity to downtown, and a hot breakfast.

The staff here was phenomenal! The pool was nice and clean and warm, the hot tub was hot and delightful. The beach side bonfires with s’mores and a night view of the bridge were a delight. Everything about this place was fantastic!

Hotel was in nice lakeshore location and staff was friendly, but our room was very small and the bathroom had a strong musty smell that permeated our room. We feel the staff should have certainly been aware of this when the room was cleaned. Their hotel sign said “no vacancy” so we toughed it out, but we were surprised to encounter this in a highly rated hotel.

I chose this hotel because it was on the beach. I would have preferred a first floor room as I have a bad knee. I guess next time when I make reservation I should request first floor. It was in a good location. Thank you.

This was the perfect spot for us! We did the island all day and landed here for relaxing quiet evening. Away enough for the quiet but still on the lake. The view was spectacular and the bon fire topped it off. The room was clean and bed was comfy! We definitely will come back!

There was a horrible smell of sewer from the building next door that leaked into our building creating an awful smell that fumed the hallways. When complained, there were no other rooms available so we’re given a 10% refund for our last night even after had to smell it the other nights.

I was very impressed with this hotel. I wasnt sure what to expect since it was a very good price. We were offered an upgrade at check in which we accepted. Our balcony room had views of the bridge and Mackinac Island. Small beach area with firepits which they light nightly. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Would definately stay here again.
