This place was such a nice, clean and relaxing hotel to stay at. The room was clean, smelled good, and had a beautiful view of the bridge. We enjoyed spending time on the small beach to end our day with a bonfire. They offer free smores packs to enjoy by the fire as well. We had such a great stay and will be staying here for future visits and we will definitely be telling our friends and family to stay here too.

Our stay was convenient to the downtown area and the pier for the ferry to the island. And each evening had fires in the fire pits and provided s’mores The only thing I would like to suggest for this property is maybe provide a place to park bikes during stays. Bike racks would be great for guests that are most likely going to the island and taking their own bikes.

The staff is A+

The staff was extremely helpful for all that we needed. There is a complimentary breakfast offered, but seating at the breakfast serving location is limited and rather cold. We suggest taking items back to your room to enjoy them comfortably.

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The was no easy way to walk into town from the hotel because there were no sidewalks in the hotel area. The room was very dark. The beach and lake are not nice in that area We were supposed to pay on arrival but they called us in the morning to get our credit card number. Then we had to give them the credit card number again on arrival. It was very pricey considering the ready availability of rooms in Mackinaw City during our stay. The hotel parking lot is awkward and probably too small for all the rooms. Overall, it was a disappointment.

Beautiful View

We stayed for 1 night with 1 adult and 3 teenage girls in Room 201. Overall we loved our stay. The property is beautiful. We had an amazing view of the bridge. The room was spacious. The bathroom was very small. The balcony was perfect. Breakfast was very good. Everything was very clean. Check-in was a little awkward at first, as there were three employees in the office, one which was on the phone and two that were speaking to each other. No one looked at me until the person on the phone completed the phone call (business related). She then apologized and proceeded with a very friendly and professional demeanor.
