This hotel is a bit older, in both style and overall condition, but it was clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed for a good stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was better than I expected --I really enjoyed the little egg and cheese wraps, the sausage patties and the variety of yogurt options.
There seemed to be minor issues with the pool whille we were there -- it's adjacent to the lobby and we could smell the chlorine when we walked in -- but this wasn't a problem after our initial appearance.
One minor gripe -- while we were there, it seemed like the door to every single back room and cluttered storage area was standing open, with their contents on display. I'm sure every hotel has rooms like this, but most don't display them so freely. I don't know if this is a typical thing for this hotel, but if it is, perhaps it's not the best idea. None of those spaces had any impact upon the quality of our stay, but they impacted our perception of the facility.
