We had a great stay…It was the perfect one-night stop while traveling from Orlando to Tampa to visit the beach. The hosts were very hospitable and quick to help when an issue arose.

We had a fabulous time at the Mystic breeze. It has all the amenities and it’s right downtown so that you can enjoy all of the marvels of Tarpon Springs!

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing due to serious cleanliness, pest, plumbing, and maintenance issues.There was garbage and debris under the beds, and balled-up cellophane tape and crumbs were found in more than one bed. Bugs were also found in the linen closet. Throughout our stay, we saw numerous flying insects that appeared to be termites, and on four separate occasions termites landed on us. There was significant damage to the floors that appeared consistent with wood rot or possible termite damage.The bathroom trash contained garbage apparently left by previous guests. Food we brought into the apartment from a local bakery became infested with bugs while we were there.The plumbing was extremely problematic. You could not flush the toilet while someone was showering without the shower water stopping completely. This made normal use of the bathroom very difficult.There were no top sheets provided for the beds.The living room and kitchen had no air conditioning; only the bedrooms were cooled. The bedroom units were not powerful enough to adequately cool the entire apartment, making the common areas uncomfortably warm.Overall, the combination of apparent termite activity, cleanliness issues, inadequate air conditioning, damaged flooring, and serious plumbing problems made this a very uncomfortable stay. We would not stay here again unless these issues are thoroughly addressed.
