I was disappointed that there was no balcony off of our room to enjoy the lake. The only place to sit outside was two chairs on the dock.

This was one of the best stays of our trip. Long drive, arrived tired and hungry. We were greeted by Kathleen, the most kind and wonderful hostess. We had an hour to freshen up before our dinner reservation. Then, we were seated with a gorgeous view of the lake on one side and the excellent band on the other. Our server, Rebecca, was one of the nicest servers EVER. The food was great. We were disappointed we weren’t staying longer than one night!

The motel was easy to get to - right off the highway. The only reason I gave the Staff & Service a 3 star rating is because we booked this motel since it had an onsite lounge and restaurant. Unfortunately the day we were there it was closed. The staff person on site was very welcoming and explained why they were closed on Mondays. We were able to find a restaurant down the street that was recommended to us.

There was a very nice view of the lake. The beds were not great for a couple sharing as you could feel every movement as if your partner was bouncing on the bed. Made for a couple nights of restless sleeps. We tried to get a table for dinner and were told they didn't have space. We came back at 7:00 to hear the music, and the place was only half full, although there was a medical convention in the next room. We were asked if we wanted anything from the kitchen as we only ordered drinks. I guess we might have been able to have dinner after all. The musician was great.

Great place to stay. Room was clean and included everything we needed. Front desk staff gladely lended me some utensils as well when I asked. AC is loud and annoying. Nice deck to go chill by the water. They have a nice restaurant but had to book a table didn't have time to try but looked nice. Pet friendly room clean compared to other pet friendly rooms I had in the past.
