This was an affordable late booking by us for a family road trip that we only planned with a couple weeks notice. This hotel was certainly nice enough, even if not exactly glamorous. Mostly renovated, the bathroom was still old, and there was a significant smell in the hallway and a little in the room. Not sure what it smelled like, just sort of old. Check-in was easy, and everything went smoothly.

The hotel is dated. When we asked where a restaurant was the front staff didn’t know. Overall it was just a place to sleep while on the road and did it’s purpose

I asked the receptionist to give us a room that was quiet. We got a room facing the road with lots of noise. The a/c in the room would emit a foul smell while running. The bed had a sewing needle in it. I asked the receptionist for a nice local restaurant in the area, he directed me to a few menus on their table. We explored on our own. The town is very nice with lots of restaurant's.

The rooms have 2 entrances - one outside to a patio and one inside to the hallway. The outside door has no security if you're on the first floor.

Only issue was toilet would run for a while after flushing, making the water filling sound, therefore wasting water. Otherwise fine

The hotel is right next to a busy highway, so even though I was on the other side from that highway, there was inevitably a fair amount of traffic noise. Not bad enough to keep me from sleeping, though. Complimentary breakfast was good. Good value.
