Very nice stay at the Carpenter!

Our room was clean and we had great and prompt service. Bathrooms were clean as well with good amenities. This a great hotel that is close to downtown but not smack in the middle. Easy entrances and exit.

Great Place To Stay

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was well kept and very clean. The hotel was very quiet qnd peaceful all night.

The hotel itself is managed very well and all the staff was friendly. The hotel is very clean as well are the rooms. I'll be staying there again on my next trip to Springfield. The only drawback i have is the helicopter traffic from the nearby hospital.

Do not recommend

One of the rooms had a musty smell and the tub and shower had mold all around the edges. The other room was out of soap and shampoo. Also the carpet beside the bed was peeling away from the wall. Wouldn’t recommend. We stayed a couple of years back and no issues but this time will be our last.

Nice location

This hotel was nice for the money. The beds were comfortable and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast had hot options which was nice. The location was close to attractions. The only complaint is the room smelled a little funky like it may have had pets previously, but it was tolerable.

They would of got a 5 star however the toilet had NOT been cleaned! and if it was they need to replace it. Very easy to find, minutes away from fairgrounds. They have security cameras that was VERY impressive and thankful for.

Not all that nice.

The hotel has nice beds, and clean bathroom. Breakfast looked unappetizing so I just had a banana. There is a rather strong odor in the hotel. That was not pleasantl.
