Main issue is that all pools were so cold (~76-78 degrees Fahrenheit) that my 4-year old daughter refused to go in any of them. We specifically booked a Family Concierge room because we understood the Family Concierge pool would be heated during the winter (our stay was from 12/27/2025 to 1/3/2026); however, this is absolutely not the case. We complained about it multiple times and nothing was done to resolve the issue. From speaking with other guests, it was clear that many of them were upset about the cold pools as well.
While the beach is nice, food is decent (for all inclusive), and service is fine, the cold pools everywhere (including the pool connected to our Family Concierge swim out room, the family friendly pirate ship pool, the water park, the Family Concierge pool, etc.) ruined our vacation. There literally isn't a single warm pool on the property and there also isn't a single hot tub on the property where you can go to warm up after being in the cold pools. If you want a hot tub, you need to go back to your hotel room and fill up the bath.
Extremely disappointing experience at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen and still in shock that we couldn't find a single warm pool at the resort. We will not be returning and would not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are visiting during the winter months and want to spend any time a pool.
