I give this hotel a poor rating due to the horrible smell from their cleaning supplies. I tried holding my breath while walking in the hall way to get to my room. The smell not so bad in the room, but you still can smell it. I saw in the hallway this air mist they have on the walls. Please get rid of that. Too much chemicals going into the body. The rugs look dirty and dinge. This use to be my favorite hotel, but now it definitely needs a remodel. Sadly I will have to find another hotel to stay at when I come visit.

Staff was not very welcoming or friendly. We arrived after shortly after 10 pm, where there were guests cooking very strong scented food in the lobby that lingered up to the third floor. A woman with a child came walking from that direction and went to the back room where employees enter, she didn't say anything but we did tell her we're checking in. She asked the for the reservation name and didn't say much else just gave us 2 key cards and told us the room number. She was more attentive to the child behind the counter than us, paying guests. Upon entering the room, we got a strong aroma of mold, mildew or both, and the air was very humid but we were so tired from the drive, we just went straight to bed. I will say the bed was very comfortable, which is the only positive thing I'll have to say about this entire visit. We chose to check out to continue our road trip by 5:30 AM and the different employee had a bad attitude and claimed we did not pay even though we did through Hotels.Com. I showed him the receipt along with confirmation of payment from my phone, he proceeded to take a picture of his computer screen and showed me on his phone. Quickly he realized his mistake and told us "we're good", without an apology of his mistake. I will say, the business does have potential to be very nice if there wasn't garbage all over the floor, lobby area and employees that cared a little more about hospitality and customer service.

If you’re just looking for a decent hotel that offers breakfast and a pool and you have found your place. Definitely needs updating and it is listed cheaply for a reason. The door locked needs to be redone as the card system does not work well. Be prepared to have to scan your door card about three times to get in your room definitely just gives former Super 8 vibes.

Absolutely Terrible

Receptionist tried putting me in 3 different rooms and each one had something wrong. First one smelled like mildew, 2nd room hadn’t been cleaned at all from the previous occupants, 3rd room had a big floor dryer in the middle of the room attempting to dry the carpet. Receptionist had no clue to the conditions of either room.
