The manager of housekeeping was so professional and caring. She offered us a room downstairs that was clean and ready, and near the outside door to the parking lot and offered take our cart for us. Meanwhile the guy at the front that checked us in, lied to us about any other rooms were not available, because we asked for a room close to the door, because my hip was hurting especially after driving for five hours and we are elderly. I didn't want to have to walk too far, when having to go out of the front door to my car. I was waiting for my wife to ask for a closer room, and a lady was coming down the hall that was checking the rooms, when I ask her about any other rooms, close to the door, she said "let me go and check for a oom at the front desk. I went to the front to check on my wife to see what she had found out, and the housekeeping manager was there. It was around 4:00pm and they had several room close to outside doors, and downstairs instead of upstairs. I asked to guy that checked us in to change our cards to the new room that the housekeeping manager had found for us, he said "did you mess up the room like the bed or restroom"? I said, we are not ghetto all we did was look in the room and decided that it was to far, and told him that we have class, that we understood that the room was clean and that was not something that we would ever do. Shaking my head! I wanted to tell him, that he was a liar, but I held back because the housekeeping manager took care of us.
