"The only good thing about this property is that it was close to the entrance of Sequoia NP. That was the only reason I paid the amount they charged for a room...which was twice as much as they should’ve charged!
I am no princess, but it was, maybe, a step above tent camping because there was a bed, shower, tv and mini fridge. The furnishings and bedding were well over 20 years old and the only reason I mention it is because it describes the effort put into what was provided for guests. The cheapest route to providing the bare minimum is fine, but at least make up for it in cleanliness and things working properly. The beds were adequate, pillows not so much. I don’t even want to think about the carpet. The bathroom was filthy...I’ve had better experiences in campground restrooms. The first night we had to take the lid off the toilet tank to flush it. They replaced the flusher (incorrectly) the second night.
There was hair that was not mine, all over the bathroom and linens. There were bugs of all kinds, alive and dead inside our room and all over the walls right outside our door. We had to slam into the door with our hips to open it and slam it to make sure it was shut all the way. The pool had a layer of what looked like like sunscreen lotion/tanning oil and dead bugs. Maybe they will take some of these things into consideration after a few negative reviews. Very disappointed with this experience, after the amount we paid!"
