The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. We could only stay for one night but we would definitely come back. It is right in the middle of Sequoia National Park which gave us plenty of time to explore the park even in our short stay.
What a beautiful lodge with a beautiful setting around it. Perfect stay in the national park and perfect location for the stay. Staff are lovely and we loved it here.
Feeling is that Staff are somewhat impatient. Both in the reception and in the dining room.
The rooms are fair at most. Dark and not "inviting". Cleaningness was fair.
Poor value for money. Well below expectations. Location is good, close to park attractions.

WARNING! If anyone has mobility issues, I suggest thoroughly investigating the entrance to the Sequoia Lodge. The 2 flights of stairs just to reach the bldg are not true stairs, no hand railing and the ramp is extremely long (no hand railing) because the bldg is about a 12-15 ft elevation from from the parking lot. We ate at the lodge and pizza balcony every day and had wonderful service and good food. The crew works so hard and we very much appreciated all of them!
Perfect location from which to explore Sequoia. It was amazing being able to catch a fantastic sunset in the evening and then being back on the trail for sunrise in the morning without having to do a ton of driving (the hotels outside the park are a lengthier drive from the main attractions). You are paying for the privilege of staying in the park, but having a clean and comfy place to stay, complete with WiFi (which made it possible to connect with family back home after a long day of hiking with no cell signal) and AC, made it worth every penny. You can also grab meals at the restaurant and pizza deck, which altogether made it a very convenient home base.
A remarkable resort in the middle of the National Park. The best location, comfortable rooms and great food. It's a no brainer for any Kings Canyon getaway.
Perfect spot in Sequoia Nat Park to get to all the spots for hiking and sightseeing. The restaurant was fast, easy and great quality. The rooms were spacious and convenient for two in individual beds. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying again.

Our stay was good overall, except the WiFi was out for one day and there was no cell service reception at all at this lodge. Another day there was a thunderstorm after which there was no power for half a day. The lodge itself is clean and provides good quality accommodation.
