The room was small but adequate. The hallways and lobby were shabby. The pavement in the parking lot was crumbling and there were tall weeds poking through it everywhere. Bathtub and sink needed a detailed cleaning.

Room was really nice, clean and comfortable but the interior of the hotel is a bit dated and rundown. (May have been undergoing unannounced repairs) Parking lot is dead until about 10pm and then it becomes the loudest busiest place in Sault Ste Marie

The room was clean. Shoddy workmanship with plank floors - gaps between some of the joins. Someone could scratch their foot walking barefoot. Cabinet door for the fridge - top hinge was loose. Notified the night and day managers of this. Door would came loose when opening a drawer. After the first night, the bed was not made and the used towels were not picked up.

The room was clean and facilities in room were good. The area outside the hotel needs work. It was raining heavily and the downspout outside the external door was pouring down all over the ground making a lot of noise and gave limited access. The air conditioners were also very loud.

So disappointed!

When we first arrived there was no one at the desk. After about 10 mins and us yelling and phone the manager arrived indicating he had a maintenance issue. Then while doing the paperwork we asked for a room at the front, as there were no cars in the parking lot at 3 pm. He said no he already assigned us to the back. We asked again if he would change it and he said no. When we drove around to the back to get into our room, the key wouldn’t work. I had to go back to the front using the other door in the room and he said outside doors only work from the inside. Unbelievable! While taking our items in we noticed cigarette butts and food containers all around the entrance. Disgusting!

Upgraded, spacious, clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly and efficient. Located close to Tims and McDonalds. Free poo bags and large, grassy front lawn for pets. Free wifi. Free coffee in the morning. Free parking. Great value even if the exterior is a bit dated.
