Everyone was very helpful. The mattress)?) on bed in suite 16 was so uncomfortable it was very hard to relax and fall asleep just to be honest. The noise from the unit outside the front door was not helpful but was better with bedroom door closed.

The only negative is that the bed was a little uncomfortable. Thin mattress. You could feel the frame while sleeping. Recommend perhaps bringing your own pad to increase cushion. Other than that the staff and service was great, excellent rooftop area, short walk to central area and plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Wear comfortable shoes as the cobblestone streets will impact you.

The staff is excellent. Spoke with Carlos at Casa Mia Suites soon after booking our vacation on Expedia. He confirmed our reservations and asked if we needed transportation from the airport. With four of us and a lot of luggage he suggested sending a Suburban or Van to pick us up. He stayed in constant contact after securing us transportation. Making sure we knew exactly who was picking us up and making sure the driver knew the flight we were coming in on. Carlos checked us in once we arrived at Casa Mia and let us into one room a little early so we could leave luggage and explore the town until the other room was ready at the usual check in time. Rooms are great very authenticly decorated as is the entire property. Rooms were spacious and clean and we had the junior suites the smallest rooms on property. Excellent service the entire time the staff would assist in arranging any of our needs. Called a driver and schedule a vineyard tour as well as calling taxis when needed. The only thing that was a little of an issue is the hot water for shower. Both rooms took a while to get hot water and you had to find the right spot on handle to get it. Shower heads might need to be changed probably just calcified as well as the diverters. The hotel is located on a street that inclines slightly the first few blocks but get steeper about a block away. When we were tired from walking around the town we would just hail a cab to avoid walking that hill. A cab was about 90 pesos.

This is a great value in a good location. We had the two bedroom family room which was roomy and well equipped. The only caveat is it faced the busy street Correo. For light sleepers or late risers a room at the rear is a better choice. It is somewhat simply furnished but very cheerful and our room even furnished robes, umbrellas, and a mesh shopping bag. I thought over all it was a terrific value.

The hotel is located close to many places of interest in Centro. It is easy to walk to the main square, restaurants, the market from this hotel. The siute was clean, cool and quiet. I could hear the fountain outside in the courtyard. Beautiful. Staff helped me with any queries, or questions and the spoke Ebglish.

Casa Mía is like staying in a country villa, quiet and serene. Housekeeping is immaculate and staff are very responsive to any questions. It’s close to the Jardín, and dozens of restaurants for all budgets. The kitchenettes make the suites ideal for those who want to hit the mercado and cook at home. We will definitely be back next time we’re in SMdA!!

Beautiful Casa & spacious rooms

Stayed here for the second time visiting San Miguel de Allende and such a beautiful property. I was recommended to stay here by some friends and family who have previously been. Close enough walk to everything and rooms are spacious. Air conditioning, kitchen area, and even a living room area in every room. Definitely worth staying here!
