"My husband and I splurged on the nicest cabin on the property. The cabin was beautiful. The property is beautiful. However, the overall organization and communication could use improvement. They collect money for everything up front (even before the activity takes place). They also don’t offer all of the activities that they advertise on their website. We wanted to do yoga (as advertised on the website), and they weren’t offering it during our stay. We also wanted to do Temezcal ceremony, and they need a minimum of 4 people to sign up. There weren’t enough people signed up the day we wanted to. We checked out the following day and they never took our name off the list. I asked for a refund and they refused to issue it. They also ask for your deposit for your stay in cash. Very strange policy- every other hotel asks for this on your card. The reception desk attendees do not speak a word of English. I would expect a place of this caliber to have front desk staff that can at least speak basic English."
