Convenient location near SLO and Cal Poly

The Vagabond Inn is in a convenient location, if you have a car. It is 5 min to downtown SLO and Cal Poly, 10 min to Avila and Pismo, and 15 min to Morro Bay. There is a Denny's next door, grocery store across the street, and McDonalds a block away. Wifi worked well. There is a large pool, though the temperature is cool. The place is a bit rundown but okay.

This is roughly the 7th time we have stayed here and we usually get an upstairs quieter room. I had accidentally booked an ADA room and we ended up downstairs. We had to leave for a bit because Spectrum needed to come in and we were woken up during a nap by them around 4:30 pm. I had to call the office to let them know banging was going on. It was taken care of pretty quickly. The hair dryer didn’t work and the microwave would lock. That was taken care of. We hope our stay next time is a better experience because we love the area and the owners are pretty nice.

Simple affordable nothing fancy but served its purpose which was around corner from Madonna Inn which we went also pool/jacuzzi area was very clean location very convenient off 101hwy bedsheets were very clean room could use some deep cleaning
