The room was beautiful, the hospitality was attentive, kind and quick. There is a restaurant right next door that was delicious, and I found out right before checking out that you can request it to be delivered to your door. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was nice and the area was walkable if you're not afraid of some hills.
Lucked out with a corner bedroom on the 4th (top) floor. I'm a fan of natural light so this was a dream.

The Pros: The manager was very accommodating in addressing some extra bedding needs for the pullout sofa, and the ladies in the breakfast room were charming and helpful. The location was convenient to Cal Poly and downtown, and parking was a breeze. I liked the security of needing a key card to run the elevator. Our fireplace was a nice touch. The automatic curtains were a novelty, and the bed was comfortable and clean. The Cons: The elevator needs repair. It kept us up at night with thumps that echo to all the rooms near it. Sometimes there were whaling sounds and shuttering. I didn't want to move rooms since this was the only room type available, and we needed it. But the sound became grating. Our room was also half-painted with a combination of paint and primer. Wish it had been finished before releasing this room. Lastly, the cleaning staff was very eager to enter the room, but once there, they only made one of the two beds and did not vacuum the floor daily. Just a little inconsistent.

Convenient location. Modern, clean and front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Walkable to downtown and local restaurants. Hotel was a bit noisy during our stay (doors slamming in the evening/night). Also, someone left their dog in the room and it was barking early in the am.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the noise level the first night. There was a girl’s basketball tournament in town and there were about 20+ girls screaming and running around at about 10:30pm. The hotel supervisor gave us our money back for that night. The second night was quiet and perfect.
