Property is definitely older but room and lobby were clean. There was a questionable stain on the blanket inbetween the sheets. The toilet seat should have been replaced with its condition. Staff was very welcoming and parking is easy. Breakfast is adequate, there’s plenty of options, some food items were mushy. Overall, it’s an affordable hotel in the area and it was great for our stay. Restaurants and coffee shops are walkable!

My car was hit in the parking lot. I didn't feel safe walking across the parking lot to use the hot tub, which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. There were several nicks and scratches on the interior doors needing paint.

Noisy people downstairs. Several guys hanging out at the outside of the room. Finally disappeared at 9:00, but door was still open. My room, I can hear the TV, conversation and someone blowing their nose. Downstairs a chopper motorcycle gunned the motor as loud as he could under my window. Disgusting neighborhood.

Staff is good during the day. The fire alarm went off at 1 am and woke up all the guests on the property. The front desk was probably sleeping at that time He was pretty rude when we called. Eventually, the fire truck came and silenced the alarm. Santa Maria does not feel touristy. I didn’t feel super safe at night
