Our stay wasn’t what we had hoped. However, I will be fair with my review and give proper credit where credit is due, but likewise, I will be very honest on what the lacks.
Let’s start with the “pros”- Upon entry to the lobby the hotel has a wonderful aroma. The hotel doesn’t have young kids running around. The front desk staff was rather friendly and guided us to excursions. Overall, the mattresses were pretty comfortable on the queen bed. Room did appear clean.
Let’s address the “cons”- You hear everything! The walls and floors are paper thin so we heard when our neighbor flushed their toilet all hours of the night, we heard the elevator door ‘dinging’ all hours of the night, we heard each person fill their ice cup in the middle of the night, we heard people up early leaving and rolling their roller bags on the hallway tile floor, and of course we heard people talking in the hallway. There is no privacy. And good luck getting sleep without being woken multiple times throughout the night from noise in the hallway, your neighbors, and the floors either above or below you. Outside of the noise issue, the shower doesn’t get hot (at least not in room 304). The pillows are like sleeping on a sheet of paper- flat. (Walk down a few blocks to Marshall’s and grab a pillow or bring yours from home). The toilet flush is obnoxiously loud in every room. The rooms have two outlets. The rooms are very basic.
