Property is different and unique. The staff are amazing. The property is fairly new and staff need to work on cleaning on the small places that are starting to show they need more care such as wipe doors and walls down daily if need too. Bathroom downstairs where the twin room needs a complete redo because there is no ventilation at all and the shower has green mold on all nozzles that needs to be cleaned or replaced. I really liked the king room where it was nice, quiet and spacious. The entire facility is quiet and nice just little things need to be addressed. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again.

I would definitely recommend La buena vida also would 100% stay again if I want to be in Santurce area next time. Staff made my whole stay feel like home as soon as I arrived. Lots of things walking distance but also calling uber/lyft was never super expensive from here either.

This place was ok for a last minute booking. Some rooms do not have their own bathroom in the room, it’s across the hall. Common areas do not have AC. Our room had a working AC unit, shower handle fell off when we turned on the water, it was fixed the next day. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It’s not situated in the nicest area. Uber rides to Old San Juan ranged $6-$15.
