The hotel’s reception area was charming, quaint, and had a lot of character, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the rooms were a completely different story. They are extremely outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The AC in our first room did not work at all, making for a very uncomfortable and sleepless first night. We were moved to a different room for the second night, where the AC worked somewhat better, and the staff provided a fan that helped us sleep much more comfortably. Another concern was the shower setup. It was awkward to get in and out of and could be potentially dangerous, especially for elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns. The one bright spot of our stay was the staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly, helpful, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay better. They did everything they could to address the issues we experienced. While the service was excellent, the property itself needs significant updates. With renovated rooms and improved amenities, this hotel could better match the charm of its beautiful reception area.

Interesting hotel, Roman theme. The room was clean, spacious, and maintained. Had nice window curtains and a head sculpture overlooking the bath tub. Sink area had plenty of counter space. Had a nice view of the church. Elevator worked well. It's walkable to the church but there is a huge hill you have to walk down. We always took a taxi back, 60 pesos. The folks were very friendly and helpful. The bed was firm but bouncy. There was a vending machine that had water.

Too far from city center. To get to the city center you had to walk up and down hills on the streets.The air conditioning did not work. in the room that we were initially given We reported the issue to the receptionist. She indicated she would send some to fix it. We waited for 30 minutes. No one came. I went to personally speak to the receptionist. She informed me I had to wait for almost 4 hours for someone to come. I told her this is totally unacceptable. The room was to hot. I requested another room if they could not fix the air. Left the hotel to go out for dinner because the restaurant in the hotel was closed. Another bad point. When I returned to the hotel I was informed the air conditioner was fix. After 15 minutes it broke again. I informed the receptionist.Sge assigned me another room. The air conditioner worked in the new room. Later that evening I noticed that the Bathroom was dirty there was white dust in different areas of the bathroom and on the carpet in the sitting area of the Bedroom. I reported it and asked the recetionist to please clean the room. They claimed they cleaned it some of the areas were cleaned. There was still dust in other area. So the air conditioner issue, restsurant closed, dirty room and bad location. I will never stay or recommend this hotel. It was the worst experience I have ever had.
