Nah……… room 102 the ADA room has a key that doesn’t work, the room is Mc.Grubered out with all kinds of cool contraptions to make up for the lack of professional Maintence. There is a very interesting door stop that is also used as a screw to hold the door together, and the shower had zip ties to hold the head up !! #bonkers F*cking Genius Resourceful …..but yooo for the price a night and no deposit it’s safe and walking distance to a lot and no parking fee…. But yah…. I need to just pay extra for a regular hotel next time at another spot

The amenities- free parking. That’s it. I can find that at any parking facility. The Surf should be re named -“ The parking spot “ it’s just a cut above a pretty good park spot. No phone, no service of any kind, no soul, no food, no clean linens, no water pressure in the shower, one at a time in the lobby, no fun, no point…cold and empty. Who are the owners of this place? It’s a sad and lonely place

The room was cold and dreary. While it offers free parking, that’s about the only positive thing going for it! The rooms are old, furniture ran down and there isn’t even a phone in the guest rooms! This is unheard of — it’s 2026 for god sake, can’t even reach the front desk if one needs, I don’t get that at all! It’s the most basic part of checking into a motel/ hotel — you must have a way to communicate to the desk- in an emergency or whatever the case! There’s no excuse for that- it makes an already substandard room feel that much more disconnected! I won’t be back.
