The staff was great, the hotel is very clean, the bed comfortable, it’s close to San Mateo events center and breakfast was hot. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and will do it again when we’re in San Mateo

The room was in pristine condition—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and responsive to our needs, and the breakfast was both convenient and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted on multiple nights by very loud neighboring guests. We are generally easygoing, but in all three instances the noise was excessive. To their credit, the overnight staff did step in and resolve the situation each time. However, the repeated disturbances did give me pause about staying here again, as it’s difficult to take the chance of not getting a good night’s sleep.

Staff is friendly. Amenities are sufficient. Location is good for my family. About the only issue we have had was the AC unit air flow. It usually is too strong and it blows to our heads when we sleep at night. But I am not sure how it can be improved. We have reported this to the front desk when we checked out this time. We have been staying at the same room for the last few visits.
