The Francisco hotel is perfect all around not fancy, but nice, clean , new furniture easy walk to Ghirardelli, The buena vista adjacent to the beginning of the Trolley. FREE PARKING!! Will stay here on my next trip. The good price isn't a Reflections of hotel.

The hotel was nice and clean, just like in the photos. The owner were friendly enough, but not so much helpful. The front desk didn’t even bother to tell if coffee machine and hot water (don’t know anything else offered) will be available in the morning for the guess. Same thing, that was the answer when asked whether the rear parking are easier or harder to park. No explanation how to go there and else. Very noisy room (in front of the street) and the heater. Nice for the free parking. Safe area.

Location was great! In a very walkable area. Highly recommend going to Kopiku Coffee across the street, it was a morning ritual while staying here and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. The room was clean and comfortable. Road noise is loud though, so plan accordingly. I had to sleep with headphones in to drown it out. Had to knock off some stars for the service. The guy who checked us in was very rude from the get-go. After we checked in we asked if there was any way to pay to park an extra car since we had driven in from different states and were told no even though there were spots available and nothing online said it was limited when we booked it. They even have double-deep spots that can fit two cars. I should have called ahead to ask, but didn’t think about it till we got there. They would only give us another parking spot if we booked an entirely new room which would have been hundreds of more dollars than leaving it in a garage. We even asked if we could just leave it one night and move it the next day since it was already so late and the guy basically laughed and told us to get lost. So at 11pm we had to go drive around looking for a secure garage to leave our other car. Every time you drive in they will come out of the office and harass you until you show them your parking pass and also micromanage your parking job if it isn’t perfect. Very annoying!

The staff is wonderful, especially Henry. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Great location. Clean and quiet rooms. And free parking!

The desk clerk at check in was polite, but the bald man who directed parking wasn't. He was abrasive. Good value budget motel, comfortable and clean room. The elevator is slow. The location is convenient. There is some road noise such as sirens.
