Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home and private parking lot. The lot includes 3 covered parking spaces and additional room for up to 8 vehicles, making it ideal for groups.
All entrances are equipped with keyless locks and personalized access codes, allowing for easy and secure self check-in.
The Neighborhood:
The home is in the famous Monte Vista Historical District. Across the street is the best bakery/coffee shop in the city. The ever famous La Fonda on Main is a short walk around the corner (ask to eat outside). Don't miss Barbaro that is just blocks away. The Pearl is 1 mile away and Trinity blocks away.
Getting Around:
The home is located in the beautiful Monte Vista Historic District, one of San Antonio’s most charming and historic neighborhoods.
Just across the street you’ll find one of the city’s favorite bakery and coffee spots, perfect for starting your morning. The iconic La Fonda on Main is a short walk around the corner—be sure to request a table on the patio if the weather is nice. Another local favorite, Barbaro, is just a few blocks away and known for its great pizza and cocktails.
The popular Pearl District is about 1 mile away, offering excellent restaurants, shopping, and weekend markets. Trinity University is also just minutes away.
Other Things to Note:
This home has a rich history. When it was completed in 1907, it reportedly had the highest construction cost per square inch of any home in the country at the time. We invite guests to take a moment during their stay to read about the fascinating history of this 120-year-old home.
For security purposes, there is a Ring doorbell at the front entrance and a motion-activated camera monitoring the parking area. These cameras record video and store footage for up to two weeks. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private spaces.
