From the moment I checked in, already trouble. I was given a room on the opposite end of the hotel from the front desk, 2nd floor. I walked my extremely heavy bags up the stairs and all the way down, just to find the maintenance guy in my room who when I asked "are you in here?" thinking he was another guest, rudely tells me, "yeah I'm in here, you have to go back downstairs" and calls down to the front desk in some racist Indian accent to tell them he's doing maintenance and I need a new room. I walk my stuff back down, and get moved to a new room, again on the second floor so again have to lug my heavy stuff up the stairs after 9 hours of travel with no offer of staff help for the inconvenience. The new room was a queen, when I specifically booked a king. The room itself was gross. A hand towel had a booger on it, another hand towel later in the week had black stains, possibly from mascara. The sheets one night what I can only assume was a urine stain. The bathtub had black footprints and previous guests' hair, as well as the shower curtain. I ended up sanitizing the tub myself so I could take a bath. Stains on the carpet and walls. Homeless meth heads in parking lot. Shampoos just thrown on the counter, can't even be bothered to stand them upright.The younger girl at the front desk was polite, but other staff were pretty cold. I understand that a 2 star hotel is going to be far from luxurious, but this was pretty bad. Definitely will not be returning there next SLC trip.

Clean room, clean and functioning fridge and microwave. Place is quiet and walking distance to fast food restaurants and bus/train station. Probably my 5th consecutive year staying here for my ski trip. Will always come back.

Would've been 5 stars but their pool and hot tub were not available and there is a significant homeless population that stays in and around the parking lot of the hotel doesn't seem to be a problem but overall a decent hotel for the price

No one cleaned the room Arrived back to a mess same condition ss i left Bed wasn’t made, no towels, everything on the floor. Horrible Hotel I spoke with “ Jay “ the woman at the Front Desk to let her know, and she says she’s not responsible since she’s not housekeeping. Poor response. I ask to speak to the Manager firs she says his name was Sam Patel. Then she said it is Sam Choudry I don’t know where they hired this young woman, but I am not sure if she knows what she’s doing.
