The Anastasio apartment is located a few steps from the Vatican walls (300 meters from the Metro stop Line A Cyprus - Vatican Museums). Recently renovated, it is located on the top floor (accessible by elevator) of a quiet building. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds that can become a double), a lounge, kitchenette and two bathrooms (one complete with a shower and another with a service). The bedrooms are air conditioned and each has a comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with all comforts (free Wi-Fi internet, dishes, microwave oven, dishes, glasses, sheets, towels, TV, washing machine, iron).
The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus 2 minors.

Max was truly an exceptional host. He met us on arrival and even helped us book a taxi for our trip home. His place had everything that we needed and was in a great location. It is very close to the Metro, grocery stores, as well as Bonci pizza - The best in Rome! We had an excellent experience in Rome and will look forward to returning. Highly recommended! Wonderful stay

This is a clean, comfortable place to stay, very close to the Vatican. It is also close to the Cipro train station, which is convenient. Use the train, not the bus! Max is a superb host, very helpful and kind.

An exceptional stay?

Our host could not have been better! Met us at the metro, walked us to the rental while telling us about the area, the world award winning pizza shop (verified), transportation, gricery store, bakery and the BEST gelato in the area.Host exceeded expectations by helping us the day AFTER our stay, as we had challenges that he was able to help us with, which he did with pleasure.Everything about the rental was great and the host exceptional! A great apartment in a great location!

The property and the neighborhood were clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay. Max was a dream host. Everything was communicated well and clearly. Its easy to catch a cab right outside the door. The neighborhood is very walkable with lots of great restaurants close by.

The property is nicely located in an area that has many unique restaurants and several markets and bakeries all within walking distance. It is a 25 minute walk to the Vatican and more unique places to eat and shop. Max is an exceptional host taking us on a short walking tour to learn the neighborhood and area. The apartment has a balcony we can sit on, was big enough for 4 adults and has all the amenities you need for your stay.

Relaxing Stay

Max was so helpful to us during our vacation. He met us at the Metro station and walked us around the neighborhood. It was our anniversary, so he made recommendations for a romantic restaurant and left a bottle in the fridge for us. The apartment was close to the metro station and Vatican. We enjoyed our stay and Max even took our luggage to metro station, lift was broken. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

First of all, Max was a great host! apartment was large and fully equipped with everything that we needed including US type of television it was a bit of a walk to get to the center of town, but the neighborhood was quaint and plenty of restaurants and bars in the area would definitely stay here again

Max was a great welcoming host who goes out of his way to help. The location is fantastic and we walked everywhere by going past the Vatican. There are a number of smaller supermarkets just a short walk from the property. We loved our stay here.

Beautiful and confortable place

Very clean and comfortable place. Owner was very helpful and even helped us find transportation back to the airport. Very close to the subway metro station. There was a misunderstanding regarding the tourist tax but this was a lack of communication with vrbo not the owner. I definitely recommend this stay. The building felt secured and very safe. Definitely recommend.

Kind, personable and responsive host

The property was close to the Metro and to several very nice restaurants and it was across the street from a small grocery store. It was a walk to the Vatican uphill with lots of steps. The property owner, Max was wonderful. He stocked the fridge with several items, so very nice, provided coffee to make in the morning and was very helpful and accommodating. The city was very hot when we visited and it was very helpful to have an air conditioner in the bedroom that we stayed in.

Roomy apartment close to the Vatican

The other reviews are completely accurate. Max is extremely responsive and helpful- the introductory tour of the neighbourhood helps to understand the area and see his recommended food places. The pizza place was amazing and we ate there (or got takeout) multiple times. The cafe was also handy. It would be great if the common area was larger to allow more people to sit comfortably- there is just a love seat for relaxing together. As others noted the shower was a bit small but based on the rest of our travels in Italy the small corner shower seems to be the standard and it was completely manageable. But those are small things compared to all the positives. As a family of four with three females it was extremely helpful to have a second half bath. It was also wonderful to have a washer and a covered balcony to hang to dry. We personally appreciated being in a neighbourhood away from the busy tourist areas. We were able to easily walk to the Vatican, Borghese, Spanish Steps. Thank you Max for all of your help, a great stay, and we look forward to trying your other restaurant recommendations.
