We've been to Reno a few times now and the J Resort is a very clean updated Hotel and Casino. The rooms were very nice and clean. Next time we go to Reno we will definitely stay there again.

Check-in staff was great, the hotel is newly remodeled and looking good. The cleaning staff should really keep up with better cleaning of the rooms in order to make that remodeling $ stretch. Loved how the parking structure had elevators linked to my room tower! The pool area and surrounding was under construction adding in some other fun amenities so the hotel will be even better in the future.

Give J’s a try

Highly recommend J’s while in Reno. Great value for the money. And we were there on Tuesday night, which is buy one get one free for the buffet, which is also a spectacular value. Looking forward to the casino adding a craps table. J’s is obviously investing heavily in helping to revitalize downtown Reno, and they are apparently having a very positive impact.

Prime location

Traveling for business, so unfortunately I can't comment on the casino experience. However for me the easy access to food, interstates and anything I needed really made for a prime location. The staff was great. The casino does smell like smoke, you may not like it, it reminds me of my grandma.
