The balcony is huge and has great views my room was on the opposite side of downtown view but the mountains are always beautiful for me. Friendly great customer service and it’s amazing how they transformed the sands property !

My wallet was stolen out of the bathroom. I had the person who did it infront of me, I called security and they told me I had to calm down or they would throw me out of the motel even though I was staying there. So the thief got away with it.

I've stayed in Reno often and have stayed at multiple other hotels, however the low price of the J Resort had me give it a try. The J is much less expensive, although the rooms are superior in the comfort, cleanliness and quiteness (is that a word?). I've stayed at the J Resort multiple times and will continue to do so. The restaurant on-property has good breakfast options and nearby hotels have an abundance of dinner options. I haven't tried the other food options on site.
